Ivan Kalske

Ivan Kaleske was launched in March 1402 A.H. in the Museum of Historical Cars of Iran. This porch displays the works before the car entered Iran; The ceremonial carriages of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar and the coronation of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and three Aradas are located in this space.

In the Carriage Porch, the history of transportation in Iran is narrated from the prehistoric period, with the display of horse control tools from the Bronze Age to the contemporary period, and clearly the presence of carriages and carriages in the city.

Naseruddin Shah's carriage is the most important work of this part of the museum; It was made by the Wagon Fabrik carriage workshop of Vienna, Austria, which exclusively produced royal and aristocratic carriages. After Naser al-Din Shah, this carriage was used in the coronation ceremonies of other Qajar and Pahlavi kings. Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's coronation carriage was also built by the same company with huge expenses. Bullet-proof glass, slim wood decorations from sparrow tongue tree and zari-bafi upholstery are the most important structural and cosmetic features of this stroller.

Another type is a type of darshaka named "Tonga" which was used in India and Pakistan. The needle carving arrays on the front tray of this tonga are very eye-catching; This work was donated by the government of Pakistan to Iran. In the Ivan Kalske Gallery, beautiful and precious decorative decorations in the body of the carriage and the carriage made of materials such as porcelain, silver and ivory are also on display.
